Composition: 100% Cotton

Size: 50 g

Meterage: 315m

Weight: Lace

Needle Size: 3mm

Gauge: 26 Stitches, 36 Rows on 3mm needles =10cm

Care: Hand Wash Only, do not tumble dry, reshape whilst damp.

With its beautiful taped structure this is an exciting addition to other Isager yarns. At first glance the yarn seems hard and paper like, but it is a 100% cotton yarn and it gets softer when washed. In combination with other yarns it adds a really nice structure, both as stripes or together with another yarn. We use this yarn in solid coloured summer tops, but it also works really well in stripes together with Bomulin.

Since 1977, Isager, a Danish company, has been furnishing the knitting world with natural fibre yarns and unique patterns. Founded by Marianne Isager, in partnership with her daughter Helga, the company has produced a successful line of knitting books and quality yarns, available in selected stores worldwide. Their story began with Åse Lund Jensen, who drew inspiration from Icelandic and Faroes knitting cultures, crafting a high-quality wool range still cherished today, including her favorites, Spinni and Jensen Yarn. Åse's pioneering spirit continues to influence the brand, driving Isager's commitment to knitting as a recognized craft. Today, Isager, residing in the picturesque village of Tversted, Jutland, offers not just yarns, but also a rich tradition and timeless patterns. We stock Isager not only for their gorgeous and unique offerings, but also for their commitment to sustainable and ethical practices in the creation of their products.
