This workshop provides an introduction to the popular technique of Fair Isle, or Stranded Colour Work, knitting.  Inspired by traditional designs and techniques, stranded colour work knitting opens a world of never-ending possibilities of colour and pattern in your knitting.
You will learn to understand charted patterns, how to strand and float your yarn, achieve a relaxed tension and how to manage yarn ends to minimise sewing in.

Skill level: You need to be comfortable with basic knitting techniques of casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch and casting off.

Materials Required:  You will need 50g each of two shades of smooth double knit weight yarn and 4mn knitting needles.
