Explore this traditional colourwork knitting technique, often referred to as picture knitting. Working in multiple colours on a single row, we can create dazzling effects with this technique, though we will start simply with 2 and 3 colours! Twisting pre-wound bobbins of different colour yarns together as we knit, we will create a geometric image as we knit.
Materials needed: You will need 50g each on three contrasting shades of smooth double knitting yarn and 4mm knitting needles.
Skill level: This is an intermediate level class so you should be comfortable with the basics of knitting (cast on, knit and purl)
