Over three evening sessions at Oxford Yarn Store, we will look at the principles of knitting a Top-down sweater while knitting the PetiteKnit Novice Sweater pattern. we will understanding how the pattern is written, how increases are worked across a yoke and raglan shaping, how body and arms are divided, how sleeves are restarted and finishing off along with caring for your garment!
Knitting sweaters from the top down in one piece is a great way of achieving a really good fit and there is very little finishing once you have completed all of the knitting. What’s not to love? So, if you have an aversion to sewing up or simply have a thirst for trying a whole new technique, then this knit-a-long is for you.
