This class is an ideal introduction to the basic skills needed to turn you into a new knitter. Learning the fundamentals of knitting to get you started on your journey, we will look at casting on, knit and purl stitches and casting off.
You will have the basic skill to be able to start knitting yourself a beautiful scarf (for example) by the end of the class.
All materials for the class are included (50g* of chunky yarn and a pair of knititng needles to keep). *More yarn will be required to knit a scarf.
No previous experience of knitting is required for this class, though it is also a useful refresher of the basics for those with some experience, however long ago!
Knitting is taught right handed in the English style.
