Brioche is a beautiful stitch that creates a soft, drapey and reversible knitted fabric and currently is a popular technique among designers, being use in a whole host of shawl and garment patterns. In this class we’ll learn the basic principles of working Brioche in one and two colours.

 

You Will Need To Bring:

  • 50g each of 2 contrasting shades of double knit (DK) or worsted weight yarn.

  • 4.5mm mm circular knitting needles 60cm in length.  

     

     

Skill Level:

You should be comfortable with the following

  • Casting On
  • Knit Stitch 
  • Purl Stitch
  • Casting Off
