Knit both sides at once to create double sided, two-colour knitting! Deceptively simple and completely absorbing, double knitting is perfect for scarves and homewares (such as coasters and potholders) Double Knitting produces a two-colour pattern on both sides of the fabric, with one being the negative image of the other!

 

You Will Need To Bring:

  • 1 pair of 4mm knitting needles (either straight or circular needles is fine)
  • 50g each of 2 contrasting shades of smooth double knit (DK) weight yarn (ideally a very light shade (white/cream/ecru/pale grey) and a darker shade.  

Skill Level:
You should be comfortable with the following

  • Cast On
  • Knit Stitch
  • Purl Stitch
  • Cast Off
